Danielle Schultz celebrates ten years at Collective Measures

Danielle Schultz is an associate director, performance media, at Collective Measures, where she’s spent the past ten years leading teams and shaping performance marketing strategies. A data-driven problem solver, she thrives on turning insights into impact, ensuring every campaign delivers real results.

To celebrate the last ten years with Danielle, we sat down to reminisce about her tenure at Collective Measures.

Q: What made you decide to apply to Collective Measures ten years ago?

A: I had been working at a different agency as a broader digital marketing specialist but already knew that I preferred the paid search space. After I met a previous employee of Nina Hale (now Collective Measures) and they had nothing but glowing reviews of the agency and culture, I knew I had to apply. Nina Hale (the person!) also had a great reputation that I was drawn towards. I also didn’t fully understand what it meant at the time, but the notion of working for an employee-owned company was also very appealing.

Q: Tell us about your first day.

A: Now you’re really testing my memory! I don’t remember anything unique about my first day, but my first week happened to be during the annual agency outing to the Minnesota State Fair. I was especially excited because I love the state fair, but it was also a great way to get to know my coworkers. It was clearly a great way to get thrown into the agency because I’m still here ten years later!

Q: How has the agency’s performance media team, or our approach to that work, changed over the years?

A: I think the biggest thing that has changed is our holistic approach to media. When I started, we did little media work outside of paid search; however, that has significantly grown over the years. Not only do I now get to lead paid search across my clients, but also paid social and YouTube. I love the opportunity I have to lead strategy on a handful of channels but also work with my super smart coworkers across the larger media funnel.

Q: What is your greatest achievement during your time at Collective Measures?

A: My greatest achievement is helping grow the performance media team as the agency has grown. The team has more than doubled in size since I started, and it’s been really fun to be a part of that growth and to have directly contributed to it.

Q: What do you envision the next ten years at Collective Measures looking like?

A: I don’t see our growth stopping any time soon, and with that, I only expect our top-notch reputation within the Twin Cities to cast a wider net. I envision our client base growing to larger companies nationwide as we continue to show the breadth of expertise we can bring to our clients.

Thank you, Danielle! We are honored to have you as a pillar of our collective.
