MINNEAPOLIS (May 24, 2017) – Donna Robinson, chief executive officer of performance digital marketing agency, Nina Hale, has been named a Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal 2017 Women in Business honoree. Robinson, who has served as agency CEO since 2014, is one of 51 honorees from the Twin Cities who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and involvement in the business community.

As agency principal, Robinson has worked to create an environment that values innovation and performance, and has shifted its services from a focus on paid search and search engine optimization (SEO) to offering digital strategy, social media, analytics, and user experience consulting. In 2016 alone, her leadership contributed to five best workplace awards, recognized by Inc. Magazine, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, and the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. Nina Hale has also been recognized as one of Inc. 5000’s fastest growing companies over the past three years.

“Being named to the Business Journal’s Women in Business list is a well-deserved recognition for the hard work and dedication that Donna puts into the agency every day. She’s an exemplary leader and an inspiration for young professionals just starting their careers and seasoned pros alike,” said agency founder and namesake, Nina Hale, who transferred leadership of the company to Robinson in 2014. “She has not only taken the business and grown it exponentially, she has created an environment where staff can also grow, both professionally and personally.”

When Robinson joined Nina Hale, she had a vision to transform the agency’s business strategy and approach to client work. She knew the key to company growth meant expanding its portfolio of service offerings, hiring industry experts, and converting from a media-execution focus into a strategic digital partner. In just three years, Robinson’s ability to forecast industry trends and client needs has yielded compound revenue growth.

In addition to her focus on Nina Hale and its staff, Robinson also devotes some of her energy as an advisory board member with Brain Health Technologies, a software company that helps to assist families and caregivers in providing care and protection for loved ones experiencing dementia and Alzheimer’s. As an advisory board member, she leverages her extensive business and marketing experience to guide the organization toward strategic growth.

Along with the other Women in Business nominees, Robinson will be honored at a luncheon on May 25, 2017.
